Text your doctor for free and keep moving forward to a healthy lifestyle
Sometimes all we need is a little encouragement.
Like just about everyone else, I started out the year with ambitious, health aspirations that by mid-January had left the forefront of my mind and by mid-June had practically dissolved into nonexistence. A month ago, however, I started to text my doctor for free, and she suggested that we come up with a health challenge to better fit my lifestyle.
She asked me if I could use some extra motivation in any of these areas:
- Eating more nutritious foods
- Drinking 8 glasses of water a day
- Reducing stress
- Getting the necessary amount of sleep
- Getting out and exercising
My doctor explained that each area is essential for proper bodily function and, together, we built a custom health plan by setting small, attainable goals. While I could use help in all of these areas, she suggested that we set and achieve goals in one area first before moving on.
